Squirrels

Join us this Saturday, Sept. 28 at 2 pm to learn all about the different squirrel species in Louisiana and how and where they live, then take a short hike to look for some of our resident squirrels in the Arboretum.

The Arboretum Nature Center is open from 9am to 5pm Tuesday-Saturday. Beginning October 1st, 2019 it will be open Wednesday-Sunday. Trails can be accessed everyday from the old entrance at 4213 Chicot Park Rd. For more information call us at 337-363-6289 or email at arboretum@crt.la.gov

Contemporary Fiber Arts Exhibit

The Contemporary Fiber Artists of Louisiana’s new exhibit “On the Nature of Poetry, On the Poetry of Nature” will be on display at the Arboretum Nature Center in August 2019.  The exhibit is free to the public and can be viewed Tues.-Sat. from 9am to 5pm.
