Join us this Saturday for Nature for Kids at 10am. We will learn about birds and participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count and the kids will also make an animal inspired Mardi Gras mask to take home.
Also on Saturday will be our Campground Cooking program at 2pm at the Chicot State Park Day Use/Picnic Area. We will have members of the Louisiana Dutch Oven Society demonstrating the basics of dutch oven cooking. Ed Braud, author of Black Iron and Cajun Spice will also be there demonstrating his stacked pots cooking technique.
On Sunday we will have our Naturalist’s Choice program at 11am.
