Winter Birds

With Chicot Lake still being low we are getting some good looks at lots of birds. Most exciting are the Bald Eagles. We have spotted 2 mature and 2 immature eagles so far this year. Saturday we got a photo of an immature eagle while it was stalking some ducks on the Walker Branch Bridge.

  1. I’ve seen woodpeckers before, but got to see one pecking for the first time today. The weather is great this time of year, and the new facility is fantastic.

  2. Thanks! Winter is a great time to see woodpeckers.
